Planters Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Rebecca Potter to Vice President, BSA and Fraud, overseeing the Bank’s BSA/AML and Anti-Fraud department and program. Potter’s nine years of service to Planters Bank and her status as an Independent Community Bankers of America BSA/AML Certified Professional highlight both her expertise and deep commitment to the highest standards of compliance and fraud prevention.

“Rebecca’s unwavering commitment to integrity, her exceptional leadership, and her deep passion for protecting our customers from fraud in today’s evolving threat landscape make her an invaluable asset to Planters Bank,” said Zak Kinchen, Chief Risk Officer of Planters Bank. “As her role expands to include oversight of a larger department, we are confident she will continue to elevate our fraud‑prevention efforts and raise the bar for excellence across our organization.”

Potter is a graduate of Indianola Academy and attended Delta State University. She is actively involved in her community, serving as president of the Sunflower County Humane Society and as a member of the Pilot Club of Indianola and Junior Auxiliary of Indianola.

She is married to Jack Potter, and they have a son, Ben.
