Brian Bishop Promoted to Market President in Clarksdale!

Planters Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian Bishop to Market President for Clarksdale. With an extensive financial background and a deep commitment to the community, Brian Bishop brings a customer-focused approach to Planters Bank’s commercial banking operations in Clarksdale.
A graduate of Delta State University (1999), Bishop furthered his education at the Mississippi School of Banking (2002), the Southeast School of Commercial Lending (2015), and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU (2022). Over his twenty-four years in banking, he has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer at Scott Petroleum.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bishop is actively engaged in the community. He serves as an Alderman for the City of Cleveland, is a retired volunteer firefighter, and is a past president of the Cleveland Noon Lions Club. He also volunteers with the Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.

Brian is married to the former Leslie Steele, and they have three children: Jordan, Gracie, and Caden.
