Planters Bank Welcomes Laken Winters as New Mortgage Loan Originator

Cleveland, MS-Planters Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Laken Winters as a Mortgage Loan Originator, further enhancing our commitment to exceptional service in the Cleveland community. With nearly a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, Laken combines extensive knowledge with a personal approach that aligns seamlessly with our dedication to client satisfaction and community engagement.
Laken is a graduate of Delta State University, where she earned dual degrees in Business Administration and Business Science in 2015. At Delta State she was a member of the varsity softball team and was Miss Delta State in 2011.
She began her career as a Loan Originator Assistant at Assurance Financial and swiftly progressed to a licensed Loan Originator. Her professional journey continued at Liberty Financial, and she further honed her expertise as a Mortgage Closing Specialist at First Commercial Bank, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage loan process.

A native of Cleveland, Laken and her family relocated back to the area in May 2024. She has been married to Ricky Winters for nine years, and they are proud parents to two children, Dean (5) and Georgia Faye (2). The Winters family are active members of First Baptist Church of Cleveland and enjoy participating in local events and supporting community sports teams.
Laken is enthusiastic about serving her hometown and is dedicated to guiding clients through their mortgage experiences. She looks forward to fostering meaningful relationships within the community and contributing to the ongoing success of Planters Bank.
