Peyton Fandel Promoted to Vice President and Head of Retail Banking at Planters Bank

Planters Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce Peyton Fandel's promotion to Vice President and Head of Retail Banking. Peyton has been an integral part of the Planters Bank team since May 2020, when he served as Vice President of the Greenwood Branch. He has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a commitment to delivering exceptional banking services to our community. 

With an impressive background that includes a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and extensive community leadership roles, Peyton brings a unique perspective to the banking industry. His previous experiences at Columbus Orthopaedic Clinic and Crossroads Rehabilitation Inc. have equipped him with a strong foundation in customer service and community engagement, which he plans to leverage in his new role.

In addition to his professional achievements, Peyton actively serves in various leadership roles within the community, including as Treasurer for the Mississippi Valley State University J.H. White Foundation and the Greenwood Youth Soccer Organization, as well as Vice President of the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. His engagement with the United Way of Leflore County and Greenwood-Leflore County Economic Development reflects his commitment to making a positive impact in the Delta. Peyton is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenwood and enjoys spending time with his wife, Catherine,  and their three children: Winn, Bennett, and Jane.
