Woods Rose Promoted to Operations Officer

Planters Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Woods Rose. Woods currently serves as Credit Analyst Supervisor and is being elevated to  Operations Officer within the Credit Department. This change not only acknowledges Woods’ contributions over the past three and a half years but also aligns with our commitment to fostering talent and leadership within our organization. 

Woods holds degrees from Pillow Academy and Mississippi State University, equipping him with a solid foundation for his role. His active participation in the community, including membership in the Greenwood-Leflore Young Professionals and completion of the Leadership Greenwood program, speaks to his dedication to both personal and professional growth. 

During 2024, Woods was selected for the Manager Accelerator Class at Planters Bank. Woods’ selection for the Manager Accelerator Class for 2024 reflects his potential and readiness for increased responsibilities. This program is designed to equip emerging leaders with the skills necessary to excel in their careers and further contribute to the success of Planters Bank.

Outside of his professional achievements, Woods is an avid fan of  Mississippi State sports and enjoys playing pickleball. He is a member of St. John’s Methodist Church in Greenwood.
