COMMERCIAL CHECKING
Planters offers a commercial checking account that can be arranged to suit the needs of the individual business corporation, or partnership. The service fees are based on the monthly activity and the average collected balance of the account for the statement cycle.

• An earnings credit against the service fee will be calculated on the average collected balance of the account for the statement cycle. The rate for the earning credit is based on the current Money Market rate. A charge will be made against the account during the current month only if the credit allowance is not sufficient to cover the monthly activity charge.

Investment Accounts

CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT
Planters Bank offers a wide variety of Certificates of Deposit that can be arranged to suit the needs of all depositors. Investments start at 7 days and are available for up to 5 years. The interest rate is established at the time of purchase. Interest can be compounded back into the CD, or transferred to your Planters checking or savings account, or issued in the form of a check. Certificates with at maturity date of less than one year will require a minimum deposit of $1000. Certificates with maturity date of one year or longer will require a minimum deposit of $500.

INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNT
Planters Bank offers a retirement savings account that allows an individual with earned income to save and defer taxes up to $2000 annually. We offer a floating and a fixed rate of earnings. The Floating Rate IRA is indexed to the 90-day Treasury Bill rate with interest adjusted every calendar quarter. Our Fixed Rate IRA is determined by market conditions and length of term. IRA deposits can be invested in any fixed rate Certificate of Deposit that is offered by the bank. Existing IRAs may be rolled over from other plans at maturity as long as reinvestment occurs within 60 days. When the investor reaches age 59½, IRAs can be rolled over at any time without a penalty. In addition to the Traditional IRA, we also offer ROTH IRAs.

MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT
Planters offers a money market account that provides a competitive rate of interest while allowing immediate access to your funds. It pays a higher rate of interest than the traditional savings account. Interest is accrued on a daily collected balance and is credited and compounded monthly.

Transaction limitations are set by federal regulation. You may make unlimited withdrawals or inter-account transfers if they are done in person, by mail, by messenger, or at an ATM. You are limited to 6 transfers per month to another account with us or to a third party by means of a pre-authorized, automatic, or telephone arrangement. No more than3 of these may be by check to a third party.

BASIC SAVINGS ACCOUNT
The Planters Bank Savings Account is a great way to start the savings habit. Young savers can earn interest regardless of the account balance. There is no service charge for customers under 18 years of age. Your Planters ATM card can be used with this account. The interest rate for this account is determined at our discretion. The interest rate and corresponding annual percentage yield are subject to change at any time. Interest will be credited and compounded quarterly. Requirements and fees for this account are as follows:
